So the simple solution is to just change my master Dropbox folder to Online only & then back to Local. I can then set them to Local again & then the proper files are redownloaded & the Thumbnails & search works as expected. However, just like Jinggo78's example above, if I change the folder to 'Online only' then the Thumbnails get created & they do show up in the Windows Explorer searches.

These files are also not able to be searched by Windows Explorer, it seems to ignore them completely. When Dropbox is synced & unpaused they all have Green ticks, once I pause Dropbox the Green ticks change to Grey X's.

Uncheck the box for PDF Viewing.Ģ) If that does not work, then in Adobe, go to Edit > Preferences > Internet and look under the Web Browser Options you will need to make sure you have it set to "allow web viewing."ģ) In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Manage Add-ons and make sure the "Adobe PDF Reader" add-on is enabled. "Do you want to open or save from ?"ġ) You should first go to Settings > Application Settings. If you are trying to open a PDF document in the Preview pane, and it either does not load, or you see a download prompt like this:
